O Antiphons Advent Prayer Cards
The O Antiphons are a series of seven antiphons, or short verses, used in the liturgy during the season of Advent, specifically from December 17th to December 23rd. The practice of praying or singing the O Antiphons dates to at least the 8th century. Each antiphon is drawn from and addresses Jesus Christ with titles from biblical prophecies about the promised Messiah from the Scripture.
